The Photos: More often than not I use photos from one event or moment in our lives to create a layout. I love the idea of connections and am making an effort to make more of
them through my photos. I like when I find a common story among photos that span a large moment in time. (
In this case, one year.) I did that in
this layout and
this one too. Looking through iPhoto, I noticed I have a lot a photos of Thierry teaching Andrea a huge variety of things.
(Thierry, it's a testament to what a cool dad you are):

The Journaling: I used quotes from the book Father to Son, Life Lessons on Raising a Boy by Harry
H. Harrison Jr. to narrate the photos and the introduction to my journaling. (Beba, if you're reading, see? Your gifts get put to good use chez les Labordes!):

The Layout: It has been a huge creative boost to work with the new Défilé
Printemps-Été collection from Kesi'art.
The papers are hip, the colors and patterns are easy to use. Once again, the color combo inspiration is from the third
assignment in Celine's month-long crop. Click on the image below for a larger view:
The Download: Because sharing is caring and because I appreciate your visit, I created a 10cmx15cm (4x6") PDF of the circle tags I used on this layout (with quotes from this book.) They fit inside a 4.5cm (2") round punch. Click on the image below to begin the download:
That's about it! I'd love to see how you put the downloads to use. Feel free to leave a link in the comments.
Have a great weekend :)
