I promised myself I was going to start posting more often. So here goes. It's Wednesday and I haven't touched my craft table since last Friday. I guess the grocery run killed my motivation. Ha! No, I'm motivated but busy with other stuff. Also, fall is here. The mornings are chilly and the afternoons are warm and dressing is a total enigma. That, and I've made peace with the fact that sweaters and jackets WILL BE LOST or left behind.
Photos, clockwise from top left: 1 Thierry took me out for a surprise! (A performance of The Barber of Seville.) 2 I went to a thrift store and scored a set of yellow ginger jar lamps. 3 Andrea in soccer gear. 4 Maxi in disguise. 5 Lucien ain't afraid of no cold.
Around here we are gearing up for a marathon month of guests at home. Exciting times. I love when people visit. First, just seeing our people is awesome. And second, it totally motivates me to wrap up projects around the house, you know, in preparation. Around here we are gearing up for Maxi's birthday. Around here we are thinking of Halloween costumes. Looks like zombies and vampires this year. (Remember last year?) Around here life feels very full. And that is ok with us.
I know that Feeling, loved having guests and preparing for them! Enjoy them!!

Your Halloween costumes (zombies and vampires) are a fun part of being a mom to boys :)

Hey, I never thought about it that way. But yes, I see it. Vampires and zombies sounds like a blast to me!
